The One He Loves



Suddenly, without reason or knowing why
My Heart feels sad, lonely, insecure inside
My heart aches, yerns, my stomach it does churn
Oh but why?

I felt so good to start
But this feeling just won't depart
It pulls hard today at my heart
For This Christmas we shall remain apart

I need that voice of loving reasurance,
Your voice that I am as yet unable to touch again with my own hands.

Don't you go feeling sad, My Love,
It's just Dave's heart yerning so bad....
The one he loves.


I wrote the above on December 23rd 2000. We had been expecting to be reunited long before December
I feel sure we would have gone mad had we known we wouldn't get Helen Back in Australia until
March 2001
